AL = Alexander Love (Nike Street Team Reporter)
D = Desperado
AL: Welcome for another Interview with me, Alexander Love. This time we have a special interview with no other than the commish of CSSL, Desperado.
D: Thanks, nice to be here.
AL: Well first off, good job on the first 3 seasons of CSSL.
D: Oh thanks, I feel that the league has really grown over the years.
AL: That's true, and it also seems that the players are more into the league.
D: Yeha I hope so, I'm just trying to keep the players happy. This league is for fun.
AL: This upcoming season is going to be a huge turning point of the league. Can you please explain why?
D: Well it's the 4th season. Nike has won it since the get-go. 3 championships in a row. But I believe that this year, Nike will finally be stopped. Each team now have at least 1 superstar on their team. Rivals have been formed, and beefs have arose. It seems that CSSL is becoming famous through the players. Someone told me that CSSL sells more jerseys then AND1. It just comes to show that this league is the real deal.
AL: Also, the upcoming draft featues, at this moment, 9 sponsored (the word I'm going to use instead of human-controlled, because it sounds better) players.
D: Yeah, I'm real excited about that. I'm always glad to see new faces. Road Runnder, Shockwave, MT, Main Event, Kid Skillz, Da House Breaka, D-Train, Xplosive and ST all bring in great talent and excitement for the league. I think this is the most talented draft class CSSL has seen.
AL: As you know, CSSL is heading to it's fourth season. How long to you except this league to run?
D: As long as the players and fans are happy, it'll go on forever. I haven't lost the passion I have of running this league like many other commishes I've seen. I look forward to doing my job.
AL: During the Finals, some sources has pointed to you about a possible fix in the league, giving Nike 3 championships. What do you say about that?
D: Well honestly I have no idea why people would say that. After all the hard work I've put in and the sweat it took to make the league as fun and as successful as it is, it is hard to believe people would say that. I mean to put all this work in and cheat? That would just be a waste of my time. There is no postive things that come from cheating. If I wanted to cheat, I would have just played in my league where it's jsut me and a bunch of babies. And I would be the only player on my team and win all the championships and win MVPs all the time. But that isn't how I am. I am just surprised that idea would come up. But hey, I just want to keep this league going as long as I can.
AL: Ok quick before you go, predictions for next year.
D: Ok these are my predictions.
Champions: Reebok
Player of the Year: The Machine
Rookie of the Year: Kid Skillz
Coach of the Year: The Game/Chamillionaire
Defensive Player of the Year: Jazz
