-After coming into the City Slam Sim League, James "The Maniac" Sams look to make an immidete impression. Although he did not get off to the right foot in his first game, he knew he could change his game in the next game. As The Maniac thought that was a promise as he had a Starting Clause on his contract which abled him to start no matter what, but apparently not. In Week 5, Puma benched The Maniac against NIKE, and James never seen a minute in the game. This severly went against his contract and took it to management. Angry and Upset against Puma Management he just thought it was one game, and he would start the rest. But as week 6 came around, and Puma played Nike again, James once again found himself riding the bench, again not seeing a single minute. Today he called an immediate press confrence.
Reporter 1-What is your plan for your future in this league? Do you plan to stay with Puma?
The Maniac- No, I deffinetly dont plan to stay with Puma. I am very upset with the way the management has treated me, and dillerberatly violated my contract. They have shown that they are a poor franchise and no matter if they put me back in the starting lineup or not, I dont plan to be on the Puma team come seasons end.
Reporter 2-Is it true that management of Puma offered you a new contract, this time without a starting clause?
The Maniac- Yes! And thats one of the things that made me extremely mad! My first deal was a 2 year deal, worth 4 million and a starting clause, they cut my money in half and took away the starting clause. So I decided that I will refuse to accept the contract, and either make them pay against league rules, or trade/release me.
Reporter 4-Do you think you could have done better in your game vs Reebok? If so, how?
The Maniac- O, most deffinetly! I always think I can do better, no matter how bad, or good I do. If you ask me, 8 points and 7 rebounds in my first ever game isnt bad. Yea, I think i shot horribly at 4-12 but I was just getting use to the team game style, they never gave me a chance.
Reporter 5- You said that you dont plan on being in Puma at seasons end, where do you think you will be?
The Maniac- It all depends on if I get traded or released. Now I wouldnt mind playing on a few teams, like Nike, Reedbok, AND1, or Addidas, but right now, any team but Puma is better for me!
