GA - Welcome again to CSSL's "Meet the Playa". I'm Greg Anthony, your host, and with me today is young Darko "The Machine" Milicic. Welcome Darko.
TM - It's nice to be here.
GA - And1 made a good run in the playoffs only to come up short. Were you happy with the teams effort?
TM - Well played well but definitely could have done better. I include myself in that. We should have won and i'm very disappointed that we didn't.
GA - You have to be pretty happy with your play at the end of the season don't you?
TM - I think that I improved a lot over the season. I solved my foul problems and was putting up better numbers. I hope to work on my game this off-season and be even better for this upcoming season.
GA - What part of your game are you looking to improve on the most?
TM - Since I am to become more involved in the offense, I am currently working on my passing. Since I will be handling the ball more it will allow me to be a better passer out of the low post and get my teammates some open outside shots.
GA - Sounds like a good plan. It sounds as if you are happy playing with And1. Is that a fair statement?
TM - Yes. I am quite happy with And1. We had a bit of a rocky start to the season but they showed faith in me when they got rid of Mad D and I think that they are happy with their decision. I want to bring a Championship to And1 and I think that they know that.
GA - I have heard that you may get a chance to play with your close and personal friend Hurricane. He has narrowed down his choices to 3 teams and yours is one of them. What would that mean to you?
TM - It would be great. I think that our team would be awesome if he would join us. At the same time, i don't want to pressure him. We have been friends for a while and i realize that he has to do whatever he thinks is best.
GA - Have you spoken to him about it?
TM - I have but only a little. He needs to make the decision on his own. I think he knows how much we would like him to come and play for And1. That's as far as I will go.
GA - Ok, final question. What are your goals for next season?
TM - A Championship is the main thing. I need to play my best. If i can do that, the awards and all-star invites will come on their own. Winning it all is my main goal.
