AP - Austin T. Pennypincher
GA - Greg Anthony
---------------------------------------------------------------------
GA - Welcome again to CSSL's "Meet the Playa". Again we have the very exciting Mr. Pennypincher but due to some previous.....umm.... problems, we will be doing this interview via satellite. Mr. Pennypincher is the agent of two of the leagues rising stars, The Machine and Hurricane. Welcome Mr. Pennypincher.
AP - Thank you son. Always a pleasure except that I fell like a d*mn fool talking to a man in a box.
GA - This type of interview is done all of the time. Just pretend that i'm right there in front of you. Now on the the questions. The regular season is over. How do you rate the performance of your players?
AP - They both did a mighty fine job......mighty fine. Hurricane was an All-Star and The Machine should have been except for some d*mn rule that left him off of the ballot. That was criminal in my opinion. My boy The Machine was tearing it up at the time and even won the 3 on 3 tournament.
GA - Speaking of The Machine, it appears that he had a pretty good season but continual foul trouble held him back. Would you agree?
AP - You're righter than rain there son.
GA - Umm.....was that a yes?
AP - Certainly son. The Machine was left to do it all on defense. That's why he had the foul trouble. That there green fellow, The Hulk, is a good player but his defense is no better than a stiff breeze. The Machine is the only inside defense presence and that is why all the foul trouble.
GA - Well, in all fairness, The Hulk did get named to the All-Defensive team.
AP - Yes he did and that is the biggest load of sh*t that i've seen since that manure truck tipped over on highway 5. He can block shots. I ain't saying that he can't. But defensively he's horrible. People have scored on him more than Paris Hilton.
GA (laughing) - The Machine is a very good player and has gotten a few votes for Most Improved Player. Unfortunately, it looks as if your other client, Hurricane is going to win the award. Does he deserve it?
AP - Both of my boys deserve it. As far as i'm concerned it should be a tie.
GA - Spoken like a true agent. Let's move on to Hurricane. What do you think of his performance this season?
AP - Hurricane has played just like his name. He stared kinda slow and then built up into a star. Heck, he scored more points in one game than anybody else in this here league. He changed teams, changed positions, and still played like a champ. I can't believe that they snubbed him with the awards.
GA - Snubbed him? How so?
AP - Hurricane is one of the most complete players in the d*mn game. Look at his averages. Over 21 points, 7 rebounds, and almost 2 blocks per game. His defense is mighty fine too. Now I may be an old man, but d*mn if those ain't fine numbers for a guard. Sh*t, I bet you that there are a few big men in this here league that would love to have 7 rebounds and 2 blocks a game. Now if them their awards pickin' fellas got their heads out of their a**es....
GA (interrupting)- OK Mr. Pennypincher! Those are indeed impressive numbers. Both of your guys are now entering the playoffs. Would you care to make a prediction?
AP - If I may be so bold, I think that as long as The Machine can stay out of foul trouble, i'm gonna say that I expect And1 and Nike to meet in the Finals.
GA - And the winner will be?
AP - Now you know the answer to that son. I gotta root for my boy if he makes it.
GA - And there we have it. A prediction of And1 wininng it all. Thank you for joining us today Mr. Pennypincher.
AP - Thank you son.
