SS: Minutes are coming closer to the City Slam Sim League, as the league is almost on full gear, we are hear to speak with potential first round draft pick, Jimmy' Rain Man' Bui. How are you today?
RM: Never been better, and you?
SS: I'm great, my first question, after reading top prospect's, you were listed to go from the 5th pick to 6th, how do you feel about this, and what do you think the Owners, or players, for the matter, see in you?
RM: (laughs) Well, first off, my game is not completely at its best, I don't think I'll be a team distraction, but if I were to be picked that early, I'd really be surprised, if teams are basing their decisions on Summer League games, which is as where I did not play to well.
SS: I Completely understand where you're coming from, but you were ranked one of the best all around defenders in the league, and your nick name, the "Rain Man" where as you should be "gathering a lot of points"?
RM: I did get my name as a matter of fact for my shot, and as I've stated before, I did not play to my best level in Summer League,
My stats:
9.25 PPG, 7 RPG,3.75 APG, .75 SPG, .75 BPG
After realizing what I did, I told myself I need to step up if I really am a Projected First round pick.
SS: Would at all feel discomfort not being picked in the first round?
RM: Not at all, whereever I land, than that's where I go, if I don't land in the first round and drop, the only thing it'll tell me is to work on my game and improve to a higher standards, and prove the doubters wrong.
SS: Coming into the league, what are you expecting?
RM: I'm expecting the play with better players, I was named to the All star game last night as a Starter, I did not play well, but thats not an excuse, because they played really well, at an unbelievable rate, and I just have to work on my game, to get to their level.
