CSSL REPORT
*****************************************************************************************************
The shoes are selling, the hats are here, we can't wait for christmas and CSSL is in its 3rd year. With a large influx of rookies, Unlike the previous 2 season, most of the squads are as deep as the ocean. 5 games have come and gone, There is a 3 way tie in the southern division, and the northern idivison race is looking really tight. the first 3rd of the season is over, and many are standing around thinking, wtf? Everybody seems equal, everyteam has a realistic shot at the finals... So whos the best at this point?
1/3 Season Champs: Reebok
At first glance the monster Nike looked like it was dethroned by Reebok's in decisive victory. Then Adidas, on its own turf sent reebok home crying. But Having the top 2 mvp contenders on thier squad with 3 qualtiy players=Free rings(or something close to it). Puma and And1 are off to good starts, but they seem to be lacking the "mojo" that lead them in the previous years.
Runner up: Nike
MVP: Bonafide
Chocker has better stats, but Chocker also has the Machine. Despite the season opener, bonafide has proven to be a great scorer, great passer and excellent rebounder regardless of his 6'4 frame the 21 year old is also a great roubounder. You could Argue that Bonafide could have won last year, and he is definitly a serious contender this year, along with his waffle iron crew.
Runner up: Machine
Most improved: Alpha male
Alpha male has had a few "wow" moments. Has also had quite a few doulbe doubles. He is more than a compliment to Mad D, Mad d might be complimenting him. Alpha is definitly the Alpha Male in this category.
Runner up: GG greens
Most disappointing player: Tribute.
Any first round draft pick should be better than: 9.8ppg 3rpg. Good thing the rest of his squad is doing so well.
Runner up: Warzone
Biggest surprise player: Butcher
A great compliment and backup to the hulk and sargent swat. He regularly gets doulbe doubles and provides a spark off the bench.
Runner up: t-baller
Best Rookie:Giggety
Picked second overall Giggety is the source to converse's mild sucess. Not much of a rebounder, unlike many other pgs in this league, but excellent passer. he has phenominal pg skills.
Runner up: Capo
Best coach: Converse
With hulk leading the way its hard to go wrong, but compared to the rest of the league, you can tell their coach definitly pulled these players together.
Runner up: Reebok
