(AP)- As the Converse All-Stars travel to take on Puma, they are prepared to see Michael "Hurricane" Henson playing on the same court, in a different jersey.
One of the league's first all-stars, Hurricane was acquired by the All-Stars from the Nike, right at last year's trading deadline. Hurricane had a big impact on the team, taking over as starting SG, first option to lead the team to the postseason, where they lost after a tough battle against Adidas. Hurricane's impressive performance was able to earn him Most Improved Player honors.
While Hurricane seemed happy with his role as team leader, he had deceided that it would be best for his career to join a winning team. Hurricane opted out of his contract, and signed a one-year deal with the second-place Puma Street Team.
Converse swingman Rain Man said, "I was heartbroken when Hurricane deceided to leave Converse. We were an up-and-coming team, and a very promosing team after drafting alot of depth."
Rain Man went onto say- "Hurricane is a father-figure to me. To see him leave like that hurt me deep down. I couldn't eat or sleep. It was an horrible pain inside of me."
First overall pick Marcus "Prodigy" Jordan told the Associated Press, "Hurricane was a great player, and definitely big shoes to fill, but I will try my best."
The game will be aired on ESPN at 8 EST.

Good article. I nice way to voice displeasure about Hurricane leaving. although well written, it is very short for an article so I have to give it a 2.
On a side note - Hurricane was very sad when he left Converse. As a competitor he really wants to win a Championship. He has a chance to do that with Puma. He only signed a one year deal with hopes that Converse would improve and that he could return next season.
