Overall Team
Defending Champs, Most Complete Team, Great Bunch of Players. All of these can describe the Nike Street Team of the CSSL. But the one thing you cannot call Nike is weak. Nike has the best Starting 5 and the best Chemistry of all the teams in the League. That's why they are the defending champs. And Nike does is not slowing down, winning their first game against their rival, AND1, Nike looks to be even more exciting team than last year. With new additions, The Game and Elevate, Nike looks to contend for the title yet again.

Starting 5
PG: Bonafide (6'4'' 200 lbs.) [2]
The ever so flashy player Point Guard, Bonafide. One word can sum up what Bonafide is all about, "Heart". He is all heart, hussle plays and clutch plays. During the 2007 Offseason, Bonafide took his game to a new height, averaging a Triple Double with 25+ Points. The gunner for the team, Bonafide is looking to take this team head and shoulders above the CSSL. And with his leadership and toughness, there's no stopping him.

SG: Fresh Skillz (6'6'' 220 lbs.) [2]
Unpredictable. That is what Fresh Skillz is all about. In one game he can easily get a double double, but in games like the 2006 Finals Game 3, Fresh Skillz can bust out for 30 Points. He is a scoring machine just waiting to be unleashed. But with all the talent on the Nike roster, Fresh Skillz maintains a high stat average, but not to his full potential. Fresh Skillz came over in a Hurricane trade, both players fitting well with their respective teams. But Fresh Skillz helped win a ring for Nike, there is no luck in that.

SF: The Game (6'8'' 230 lbs) [R]
Undrafted Rookie just coming into the League. Unknown with no Preseason Games, but still excited alot of teams. In the end, Puma and Nike were at the top of the list for this player. But The Game picked the defending Champs, Nike. With his newfound team, The Game took over the starting spot of All-Star, Hot Shot. Hot Shot comments, "I am still a big part of this team, starting is not important to me. The W is what I care about, so I told the coach, 'Go ahead and let this kid start, he'll like the experience'. I'm sure my playing time will not be affected whether I start or not". The Game did not dissapoint in the Season Opener, winning Game MVP with 28 points, 16 Rebounds, 3 Assists and 2 Blocks.

PF: The Choker (6'9'' 210 lbs.) [2]
CSSL's Number 1 Bad Boy, The Choker. What one can say about Choker is that he can back up all his talk with skill. Putting up impressive numbers since he played his first Summer League Game, The Choker looks to keep on rolling into Season 2. Probably the most talented player in CSSL, The Choker is one tough customer. He is Dennis Rodman, Allen Iverson and OJ Mayo all mixed into one. The Choker wants to repeat this year, and with the Nike Street Team looking at him to make way, The Choker is more than ready for the challenge.

C: Show Stoppa (7'6'' 300 lbs.) [2]
With Bonafide, Hot Shot and The Choker doing all the talking and taking names, Show Stoppa is the actual backbone of the team. He is the one who does all the little work, and always is consistant. Not as flashy as the others, he is the "Tim Duncan" of the team. Some refer him to the "Sleeping Giant". But this season, Show Stoppa has openly said he wants to have a "breakout year". And with the talent of him plus the talent of Nike, Show Stoppa won't have a tough time getting higher stats.

BENCH
PG: Hot Shot (6'6'' 215 lbs.) [2]
Fiery player who never fails to get into a player's head. Trash talking is his game, and so is basketball. 2006 All-Star and All CSSL 1st Team, Hot Shot is no fluke. He has the ability to shoot, drive, pass, steal, practically anything. And coming off the bench doesn't affect him at all. He feels that Nike can easily repeat as champions, and this former Maryland Star is not going to back down from any team.

SF: Alpha Male (6'6'' 226 lbs.) [2]
Alpha Male is a good player off the bench. The 6th Man of the Year just last season, Alpha Male has worked hard through the Preseason, and Nike is taking notice. Nike loves Alpha Male's "team-first" state of mind, and does not want to take this player for granted. Alpha Male looks to have a "breakout" season this year with Nike, and after winning it all last season with Nike, he isn't going anywhere soon.

C: Elevate (7'0'' 260 lbs.) [DR]
Drafted rookie of Adidas, Elevate came over to Nike in exchange for Speedy and Wreck. Not much is known for this highflyer, except for his uncanny ability to drive and slam the ball even through tough contact. Very physical who doesn't like to back down. Alot of potential is hidden is this player, and with players like The Choker and Show Stoppa guiding him, Elevate will take his game into whole new heights.
